The Mission of Theta Chi Psi: 

 

Theta Chi Psi Fraternity is a lifelong brotherhood dedicated to the betterment of the individual, the community, and our world, by giving its members opportunities to develop leadership skills, participate in service to others, achieve academic excellence, experience cultural diversity, and practice personal integrity.

 

The Vision of Theta Chi Psi:

 

Theta Chi Psi Fraternity creates an atmosphere that focuses on lifelong relationships that enhance members of the organization educationally and interpersonally, and aid them to recognize the importance of the heart of community service, love for all mankind, and professional success.

 

The Purpose of Theta Chi Psi:

 

Theta Chi Psi Fraternity contributes to the advancement of the L.G.B.T. community and the society as a whole through personal growth and service to our communities and others.

 

Theta Chi Psi's 5 Pillars of Service: 

 

• Academic Achievement

  • ​The Brothers will commit to ensuring the return, enrollment and/or retention of LGBT persons in a degree seeking program at a regionally accredited college, university or tech school.

 

• Cultural Awareness

  • Theta is a multi-cultural organization. With this goal in mind our Theta Chi Psi seeks to develop a wide community support base with various ethnic, cultural and social organizations.

 

• Political Awareness

  • ​This area is designed to develop Theta Chi Psi Fraternity Inc. as a voice to the LGBT community to monitor, support and inform the LGBT Voter in areas that impact them.

 

• Community Service

  • Unpaid activities which are designed to serve the needs and concerns of a specific community and ultimately the world. Brothers are bound by a constitutionally required minimum of service hours each year.

 

• Friendship/Brotherhood

  • ​Brothers commit to an ever increasing bond of unconditional association. This area provides mentoring and confidential communication with brothers that are in need.  Theta will continue to create a support network for brothers across the world.
